What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that is stored in your browser to recognize your computer the next time you visit the site. Cookies are not active files – that is, they cannot harbour viruses or track any content on your computer. Their only purpose is to send information back to us about the time of the visit, the duration, and so on.
- Statistics (Google Analytics): We use Google Analytics to gather statistics on the traffic at our website, so that we can make adjustments to suit users’ needs. For example, we obtain information about the number of visits, the average duration of the visit, and how our users move around the site.
- Sharing (AddThis): At redlight.tv, it is possible to share content with others on Facebook and Twitter. In order to make this work, we use AddThis, which makes it easy for our users to share content on social networks.
- Adjusting the text size: If the size of the text has been changed, a cookie will remember this, so the user does not have to change it every time he or she goes to another page.
If you do not want to allow cookies
If you do not want to allow cookies on your computer, you can change the settings of your browser, so that it will remember this in the future. You can also delete cookies that have already been stored.
For instructions and to read more about cookies, go to aboutcookies.org.
Use of personal data
Personal data will never be passed on or sold to a third party. We do not gather personal data unless you give it to us (for example, by signing up for a newsletter).
